all-new, twin-scroll turbocharged, direct-injection 2.0-liter SUBARU BOXER[SUP]®[/SUP] engine pumps out 268 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque that starts down low to give you power throughout the rev range. With this new powertrain, pure performance is available at any time, in any gear.
To give you the control you crave, there's also a standard 6-speed manual transmission. And just like WRX redefined the 4-door performance sports car, its new Sport Lineartronic™ Transmission is changing what's possible. With 6- or 8-speed manual mode, its paddle shifters provide fingertip control that fires off shifts in fractions of a second, rivaling competitors' dual-clutch transmissions.
